Defence
RJC is an established delivery partner within the defence sector, supporting both individual projects and framework programmes across the United Kingdom and internationally.

Project Hydra
United Kingdom
RJC were responsible for the design development, engineering, supply and installation of critical building services infrastructure for Project Hydra, supporting continuous operation within a secure defence environment.
The project included the delivery of resilient mains power distribution, UPS and generator systems to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 power continuity, supported by a fully integrated fire suppression system.
Mechanical works comprised the installation of complete HVAC systems, hot and cold water services, WC and shower facilities, alongside lighting upgrades throughout the building.
Executed with a strong focus on reliability, compliance and operational assurance, the project delivered a robust and fully integrated building services solution.
Twin Rigs
Falkland Islands
RJC delivered the design, fabrication and installation of a fully integrated MEP solution for the Twin Rigs facility in the Falkland Islands.
The project included the design and manufacture of a bespoke oil-fired boiler skid system, together with the development and installation of the full HVAC and building services infrastructure.
Mechanical works comprised radiant heating panels, heat recovery systems, hot and cold water services and plumbing installations. Electrical works included a complete power and lighting package incorporating ATEX-compliant electrical installations.
Delivered within a remote and operationally sensitive environment, the project required careful coordination, robust engineering design and a focus on long-term reliability, resulting in a resilient and compliant solution suited to demanding environmental conditions.
Government
RJC supports the UK government both domestically and internationally, delivering specialist HVAC, MEP and gas engineering services within new-build development and the refurbishment of existing facilities.

British Embassy, HVAC services
Bahrain
RJC delivered a comprehensive upgrade of the air conditioning, ventilation and public health services at the British Embassy in Bahrain.
The project included the installation of new HVAC systems to improve environmental control throughout the building, alongside upgraded ventilation systems designed to meet operational and occupancy requirements. In parallel, RJC delivered plumbing works, including the installation of new water services and WC facilities.
Delivered within a an operational diplomatic environment, the project required careful coordination, adherence to strict protocols and a focus on maintaining continuity of building use.
The completed works provided a modern, reliable and efficient building services solution, , supporting long-term operational performance within a historical building.
Ambassador’s Residence New MEP Services
Muscat, Oman
RJC delivered a comprehensive upgrade of the mechanical, electrical and public health services at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Muscat, replacing ageing systems within a live diplomatic environment.
The works included the removal of life-expired cooling, ventilation and control systems and the installation of modern, high-efficiency VRF and ventilation solutions, supported by a new building management system.
RJC managed the project from detailed design through installation and commissioning, significantly improving environmental performance, system reliability and long-term operational resilience while carefully maintaining the necessary operational protocols required within a diplomatic facility.
Healthcare
RJC provides specialist building services for controlled healthcare environments where reliability, hygiene and system integrity are critical to patient wellbeing and clinical performance.

New MRI Suite Fit-Out
University Hospital Southampton, UK
RJC delivered the mechanical services installation for the new MRI suite at University Hospital Southampton, working within a live NHS clinical environment.
The project involved the extension and integration of the existing mechanical infrastructure alongside new systems, designed to support specialist imaging equipment. The project also included cooling, ventilation and water services.
RJC coordinated the removal of redundant services and the installation of enhanced ventilation and filtration systems to meet stringent clinical and operational standards.
Delivered with a strong focus on reliability, safety and the continuity of hospital operations, the works supported the successful commissioning of the new MRI facility.
Nuclear Medicine Scanner Suite
Sir John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK
RJC’s scope included the design development, supply and installation of a HTM-compliant ventilation system for a new Nuclear Medicine Scanner Suite at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Working within a live clinical environment, the project required careful coordination to meet strict healthcare ventilation standards and operational requirements. In addition to the specialist ventilation installation, RJC provided air conditioning systems to associated areas serving the scanner suite, ensuring appropriate environmental control and system resilience.
The works were completed with a clear focus on compliance, performance and continuity of hospital operations.
Technical Services and Partnership

Oasis Park Commercial Fit-Out
Oxford, UK
RJC were responsible for delivering the comprehensive mechanical and electrical fit-out across three floors at Oasis Park, providing modern and flexible building services to support commercial office use.
The works included the installation of VRF air conditioning systems to each floor, externally mounted air handling plant, new electrical distribution and small power installations, alongside coordinated lighting schemes throughout the spaces.
The services were all designed and installed to support efficient operation, expansion and long-term reliability.
Sterling House
London UK
RJC were contracted to deliver a comprehensive mechanical services package for Sterling House, upgrading the existing building infrastructure across multiple floors within the commercial office environment.
The project included the full design and installation of hot and cold water services, WC facilities and a robust, HVAC system tailored to support modern office use.
In parallel, RJC implemented an integrated building management system to provide centralised monitoring and control of all services.
Delivered as a coordinated end-to-end solution, the project focused on performance, efficiency and long-term operational reliability.
